Calendar of Events

Hilmar FFA offers many activities for our students to participate in. The activities are listed in this section by month. Our activities include monthly meeting, community service events, sectional and statewide FFA events and many more.
2022
For the past couple of months Hilmar FFA has hosted many events for the students of Hilmar High School.
  • Hilmar FFA hosted a memorable 2022 Game Night meeting in August; we had volleyball, cornhole, badminton, and other exciting games for the students to participate in.
  • On September 13th, the Hilmar FFA officer team went to the COLC Sectional meeting that was hosted at Merced College to represent Hilmar FFA. We met with other officer teams that are in the Merced-Mariposa section and learned the importance of what it means to be an FFA officer.
  • On September 17th we hosted the Truck & Tractor Pull for the first time in 2 years. We had a great turn out with the help of our amazing community members.
  • To end the month of September we had our freshman presentations to educate our freshmen students who are currently enrolled in our Ag classes. We presented information about the variety of pathways students can take and the agriculture careers they can pursue.
  • On October 18th, we hosted the Annual Greenhand and Chapter FFA Degree Ceremony. All first and second year FFA students received their Greenhand or Chapter Degrees awarded with a certificate and a pin for their FFA jackets.
  • To end the month of October we had freshmen students attend the Greenhand Leadership Conference that was hosted at the Merced County Fair Grounds where the attendees learned valuable leadership skills and all the opportunities available through FFA.

Students are looking forward to many more exciting activities that are planned for the rest of the year!
