2020-2021 FFA OFFICER TEAM
Morgan Oliviera - President

FFA Experience:
Morgan is a Junior at Hilmar High School and this will be her second year serving on the officer team. She has previously served as the 2019-2020 chapter Historian and is currently serving as the 2020-2021 chapter President. Throughout her year in FFA, she participated on the Dairy Cattle Judging Team and competed in the FFA Creed Speaking Competition and Impromptu Speaking Competition. She has also exhibited Dairy Cattle, and participated in Project Competition.
FFA Accomplishments:
Morgan's FFA accomplishments include getting a gold award in Project Competition, getting chapter Star Greenland, and earning Outstanding Agriculture Science her Freshman year.
Future Plans:
In the future, Morgan plans to attend a 4 year university such as Cal Poly SLO, Chico State or Fresno State. She plans to major in either Ag Science or Ag Business.
Fun Fact:
A fun fact about Morgan is that she is an assistant to the Varsity Football team at Hilmar High.

Gracie Xavier - Vice President

FFA Experience:
Gracie is a senior at Hilmar High School and this is her third year serving on the officer team. She is serving as the chapter Vice President and was the 2018-2019 chapter Historian and 2019-2020 chapter Treasurer. During Gracie's three years in high school, she’s participated in the Opening and Closing Ceremonies Contest as well as the Impromptu and Job Interview Speaking Competitions. As a freshman, she attended the Greenland Leadership Conference, and as a sophomore she attended ALA. She has also been showing for 7 years. Throughout these years she has shown, beef, sheep, and dairy.
FFA Accomplishments:
One of Gracie's biggest accomplishments in FFA is selling all of her SAE projects.
Future Plans:
After she graduates high school, she plans on attending Boise State to study Animal Science.

Gracie has been showing for 7 years throughout FFA and 4-H
Miranda Gonzalez - 2nd Vice President

FFA Experience:
Miranda is a senior at Hilmar High School, and this is her third year serving on the officer team. She was previously the 2018-2019 chapter Reporter and 2019-2020 chapter Secretary and is currently serving as the 2020-2021 chapter 2nd Vice President. Throughout Miranda’s three years in FFA, she has participated in the Dairy Products Judging Team and has also competed in the Impromptu Competition as well as Opening and Closing Contest and Job Interview Contest.
FFA Accomplishments:
One of Miranda’s biggest accomplishments was going to sections for the Impromptu Speaking Competition, and going to state for Dairy Products.
Future Plans:
After high school, Miranda plans on going to college and majoring in either Ag Business or Ag Law.

A fun fact about Miranda is that her favorite movie is How The Grinch Stole Christmas.

Daniel Rocha - Secretary

FFA Experience:
Daniel is a junior at Hilmar High School and this is his second year serving on the chapter officer team. He has previously served as the 2019-2020 chapter Reporter and is currently serving as the 2020-2021 chapter Secretary. Throughout his 2 years in FFA, he has participated in the FFA Creed and Impromptu Speaking Competitions, as well as the Dairy Products Judging Team. Daniel has also shown a market goat at the Los Banos Fair.
FFA Accomplishments:
Daniels biggest accomplishment in FFA has been placing 3rd in Novice Goat Showmanship at Los Banos Fair.
Future Plans:
He plans on going to a 4 year university to study Law.

A fun fact about Daniel is that he is on a Portuguese Folklore dance group called Mar Alto.

Madison Johnston - Treasurer

FFA Experience:
Madison is a junior at Hilmar High School. This is her first year serving on the officer team. Madison is serving as the 2020-2021 chapter Treasurer. As a freshman and sophomore, Madison has participated in the Creed Speaking Competition and Dairy Products Judging Team as well as shown swine.
FFA Accomplishments:
One of Madison's biggest accomplishments while participating in FFA was placing 2nd high individual in the 2020 UC Davis Dairy Products Competition.
Future Plans:
In the future, Madison wants to attend a 4-year university to further her education.

A fun fact about Madison is that she has torn both of her ACL's.
Harmony Tinley - Reporter

FFA Experience:
Harmony is a junior at Hilmar Highschool and this is her first year serving on the officer team. She is currently serving as the 2020-2021 chapter Reporter. During her freshman and sophomore years, Harmony participated in the Creed and Impromptu Speaking Competitions. In addition, Harmony has also been a member on the Nursery Landscape Judging Team for one year and shown market lambs for two years.
FFA Accomplishments:
Harmony most values her FFA accomplishments in speaking competitions such as making it to the regional level for the Creed Speaking Competition her freshman year and placing 5th at the regional level her sophomore year in the Impromptu Speaking Competition.
Future Plans:
Harmony plans to attend a 4 year university after high school and double major in Political Science and Sociology.

Larynne Holland - Sentinel

FFA Experience:
Larynne is a senior at Hilmar High School. This is her first year serving on the officer team. Larynne is currently serving as the 2020-2021 chapter Sentinel. Throughout her years in the FFA, she has been involved in Ag Floral and showing swine. Larynne has also attended the Greenhand Leadership Conference as well as competed in both the Impromptu and Opening and Closing Speaking Competitions.
FFA Accomplishments:
Larynne's FFA accomplishments are receiving 2nd place on Freshman Swine Showmanship as well as getting her State Degree.
Future Plans:
Larynne's plans to attend MJC and then transfer to Fresno State and major in Ag Education with a minor in Ag Business.

A fun fact about Larynne is that she can wiggle her ears.

Dina Mancebo - Historian

FFA Experience:
Dina is a junior at Hilmar High School and this is her first year serving on the officer team. She is currently serving as the 2020-2021 chapter Historian. Dina has participated in the Opening and Closing Speaking Competition as well as shown rabbits and goats.
FFA Accomplishments:
Dina's is most proud of FFA Accomplishment in receiving 1st place in Novice Rabbit Showmanship her freshman year.
Future Plans:
Dina's future plans are to make an impact on the world, and to major in something related to animals.

A fun fact about Dina is that she is a fraternal twin.
