Supervised Agriculture Experience (SAE)

The Supervised Agriculture Experience (SAE) program is a “learn by doing” tool in agriculture education. All students are required to conduct an SAE, which reflects their agricultural interests and career goals. Through these individual programs, some paid and some unpaid, members receive hands-on training in goal setting, planning and record keeping.

Project Competition
Project competition is an event held within a chapter where FFA members may compete against each other concerning the knowledge and the work experience gained from their own FFA projects. Many students participate in project competition. The top projects from the Hilmar Chapter are selected to advance in competition to the sectional level, to compete against FFA members from other chapters in the Merced/Mariposa Section.
